ah, the past
nancy called me the other night and asked what i was doing. i happened to be logged into this account reading through the 570 posts from my former deceased blog. i scanned through the list and began reading a few which made reference to her. seriously, i haven't laughed so hard to the point of crying in a long time. i decided to start putting some old posts here, just because they're funny. depending on who you are, you may just think, whatever. and move on. nancy was laughing so hard, that craig tried to put his ear up to the phone to listen in. i'll put some of his old posts up here too. who doesn't enjoy a jaunt down memory lane?

every day when my sister and i are getting ready for work, we have cp24 on to check the weather and news. we also habitually yell out the same things to eachother, 'what are you wearing today?' it is possibly the last cold day of the season and today she wanted to wear her black sweater hoodie, but said her whole outfit was thrown off because, 'my clothes smell like curry. you made my clothes smell like curry.' and it was my fault because i made chicken balti the other night. we were standing outside by the bus shelter when she said, 'man, i can feel the cold creeping through the slit in the back of my skirt.' when i asked her why she wore a skirt, she replied, 'cause everything smells like curry.' my sister likes to use what i call reverse jerkism on me. she is very good at it too. reverse jerkism works by laying blame on someone else, making them feel like they are complete asses, like they've completely ruined something for you. the person employing the reverse jerkism maintains a syrupy innocence and sweetness, like, 'i can't believe you would do this to me.' but really, they know deep down inside that the only person to blame is themselves. don't fall victim to reverse jerkism.

the world would be a better place if ~everyones~ clothes smelt of chicken balti. you sister should count herself amongst one of the lucky ones to have that experience. sheesh. :P
