feeling the post holiday blahs? the winter city festival must be toronto's answer to beating everyone's back-to-work blues. some might argue that the city is facing tough times financially and it's no time for such frivolity. this is fact. but come on, what's a city without a bit of community celebration. we are already trying to figure out what restaurant to visit for winterlicious. and who doesn't like free concerts?

last year we stood in the cold for over two hours to hear sloan. freezing my toes stone cold was worth it. how could i skip a free sloan concert? we were in a bit of a silly mood that night. as i was going through some old files tonight, i came across a couple pictures of nolan doing ninja kicks around the city from that night. one of rhonda and nolan racing down an escalator. i have no explanation for these. we were just in a stupid mood. but see how much fun you can have for no money. or consumption of alcohol.

is it ok to be 30 and behave this way in public?
