lost my head

i have a gmail account that i never use, but have been lately for some contract work i am doing. tonight i was going through it, and i noticed some emails that i sent to myself a couple of years ago. raymond and i were hanging out at the new best buy at bay and dundas, and took pictures of ourselves on the mac's photobooth program. here's one i titled 'lost my head' in the subject line. aren't we just the biggest bad asses on the block?

also, how glorious has this weather been? i spent a lot of time walking around this weekend, it is so nice not having to fall over snowbanks when running to work late. i spent saturday morning at jane's at another stamp demo. after swearing that i wouldn't order anything more, of course i did in the end. it was fun hanging out with all the girls. hi kelly! i fed ginger a cherry tomato and watched all the seeds and pulp spill from her mouth. she seemed to enjoy it. more than the celery that she continues to spit out.

after i left, i took the subway to look at stereos at bay bloor radio, found one i like soon, and made my way over to bathurst station to go shopping at trove. it was closed :( so, i put on my old ipod and walked all the way home. it was one of my favourite walks of the year so far through pretty streets i only walk through in the winter. later that evening, saw that movie forgetting sarah marshall with marina and rhonda, and went for a quick drink.

on sunday morning, i spent a couple of hours sweeping and wiping all the dirt from my balcony. i tried not to think about where all the dirt came from (the pig trucks that roll down wellington street!) gulp.

afterwards, i called sarah and we took our first walk to dufferin mall this year, for cheap groceries and to try and find good deals on fashion. she had more luck than i did - she even found an elusive copy of guitar hero for her new wii. we took a taxi home, listened to bollywood music on the radio and chatted with our very nice taxi driver.

this past weekend receives a five star rating.

Hi Sharon!! Thanks for the shout-out!

What's all this about pig trucks? Er, maybe I don't want to know...

hi kel! there's an abbatoire down the street from here... if you're on the street and close enough to the trucks, you may make eye contact and hear the little piggies crying. it's really very sad :(
