spring, sprang, sprung, sprong

hmm, not sure what to write. i haven't been a good blogger, but nancy urged me to write something. she says she checks here every day, i can't disappoint my only fan.

i've been at my new job for almost three months. so far, it has been great! we arrive in the morning, get our work done in a stress free environment, listen to ricky gervais podcasts all day, have access to fresh coffee all day, get free beer on fridays, have a lovely view of the lake and also the downtown skyline from our desks, and leave at a reasonable time. and i'm not saying that we don't have stressful situations - they're manageable situations that we can leave at the office at the end of the day. this is something i have never really been used to. i should go have my blood pressure taken.

a lot has been happening with my friends too. i am going to be an "aunt", sort of. marcia and derek are welcoming a little one in september, a couple of weeks before my birthday! i am so super excited.

and joanne is getting hitched!! her big day will be later this year, in november. i couldn't be happier for her!

already i am having trouble finishing this post, after talking to edvin on msn for an hour. to end off, i'd like to show the only animated monkey news, taken from one of the ricky gervais podcasts. carl pilkington is the greatest, with his bald head shaped like an orange. enjoy.
